Able to execute work under carpenter's supervision, use carpentry tools and learn how to operate/use heavy equipment.

Experiences:
1 Year

Education:
Basic carpentry tool knowledge

Expectations:
Personal transportation essential; ability to get to site daily.

Wage:
$22-$26 per hour

Carpenter Apprentice

Carpenter Apprentice

Must be able to work alongside Journey person and follow the required program.

Experiences:
2 Years

Education:
Corresponding College Registration

Expectations:
Knowledge of applicable equipment and its use, care and maintenance.

Wage:
$26-$28 per hour

Lead Hand & Crew Truck Driver

Lead Hand & Crew Truck Driver

Duties include working with the crew, substituting for the Leader when necessary and loading/unloading the truck.

Experiences:
5 Years

Education:
Five years carpentry experience

Expectations:
Personal transportation essential; ability to get to our yard daily

Wage:
$28-$32 per hour

Crew Leader

Crew Leader

Must be able to read drawings and translate them to crew, plan work, delegate, build alongside crew and ensure safety at all times.

Experiences:
10 Years

Education:
10 years carpentry experience, ability to lead crew

Expectations:
Ability to train and lead a crew (2 to 3 people), produce daily progress reports

Wage:
$33-$45 per hour

Journey Person

Journey Person

Must have completed apprenticeship program plus 3 years of supervision.

Experiences:
6 Years

Education:
Succeed in the exams

Expectations:
Proficient at solving carpentry problems

Requires two winters of in-school instruction in a horticultural program plus 3 seasons working on-site.

Registration at Humber College or equivalent

Expectations:
Plant trees, shrubs and smaller material

Wage:
$21-$24 per hour

Be able to drive the crew truck, work with the crew leader and substitute for crew leader when necessary.

Experiences:

Education:
5 years experience in Horticultural Maintenance

Expectations:
General plant material and turf care knowledge, proficient with Horticultural tools

Wage:
$24-$28 per hour

Summer vacation time available

Crew Leader

Be able to delegate work, provide quality assurance and train crew as required.

Experiences:
5 Years

Education:
Leadership qualities, more than 5 years experience in landscaping

Expectations:
Ability to train and lead a crew (2 to 3 people) and produce daily progress reports.

Wage:
$29-$35 per hour

Horticultural Manager

Horticultural Manager

Duties included managing crew schedule, coordinating with clients + new sales and produce invoices.

Experiences:
7 Years

Education:
Horticultural Expertise, ability to deal with clients and to support crews

Expectations:
Advanced knowledge of plant care and maintenance, ability to train on pruning.

Wage:
$50K-$60K

Responsible for managing division growth and sales.

Must be fluent in English

Example: Build retaining walls, driveways, patios and walkways using stone and precast material under the direction of the foreman

$20-$30 per hour

Senior crew leader with Kaizen culture with a strong desire to improve.

Expectations:
Liaison with office regarding training needed for crews, and deliver training on the job or at headquarters

Wage:
$40-$45 per hour

Project Manager

Project Manager

Be able to liaison with our clients and track project progress.

Experiences:
5 Years

Education:
Landscaping Certification with 5 years landscape design/build experience

Expectations:
Responsible for leading clients through the Oriole L. Experience; ensuring that all clients understand what to expect during sales, design, permit, estimate & construction phases of the work.

Wage:
$50K-$80K per year
