Landscape Tri-Axle Driver
Position: Landscape Tri-Axle Driver Location: Toronto, Ontario Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary
The landscape tri-axle driver will perform tasks involving driving, delivering and loading/unloading equipment, bins and materials. A proactive approach to loading prior to delivery to ensure drop-off/pick-up deadlines are met is required.
Job Duties
· Drive tri-axle truck with trailer including operation of a hook lift off system.
· Load/unload and secure equipment and material in trucks and on trailers.
· Plan routes and logistics for daily loads, deliveries and pickups and communicate with Operations Manager.
· Maintain yard stock by placing orders, disposing materials, stocking materials while maximizing backhauling at all times.
· Proficiency preferred in equipment operation, specifically wheel loaders, track loaders and excavators.
Preference given to candidates that can:
· Work with landscape crews as required.
· Erect, dismantle and transport scaffolding, shoring braces, TPZs, traffic barricades, job-site enclosures, ramps and other temporary structures.
· Assist with dismantling and transporting forms for concrete work.
· Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement or adjustment of machinery, equipment or materials.
· Yard upkeep including stocking hardscape and softscape inventory along with facilities maintenance as directed by Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Excavator, skid steer, articulated loader operation experience.
· AZ/ARZ license with 3 years’ experience and a clean driver’s abstract.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, seasonal position. Employees will be working outdoors in all types of weather. The workday starts at 6am at the Oriole yard. Hours will range from 40 to 55 per week. Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. This position is highly physical and requires the applicant to lift weights of up to 50lbs and includes frequent repetitive tasks.
Salary Range:
Varies from $28-$35 per hour, depending on skill set and experience. Overtime, paid training, phone reimbursement, profit sharing and paid health benefits (after one year) are provided.
